I easily ordered 3 yds of the fill dirt by phone. Was able to coordinate delivery when I knew I’d be home. Prior to this we had a week of wet weather so I was concerned that a load of mud would the result. Mr. Will of MD Ground Covers delivered a dry bed of dirt the same week! Very professional in handling the dump truck on a narrow hill and kind enough to alert me and allow me to relocate my vehicle to the street before he unloaded. He showed great care in angling the truck to the desired ‘drop zone’ making sure to account for the bed lift so near to the house. Very thorough and finished with a broom to move every grain of dirt from the truck. Thanks so much! Recommended!

Five stars for excellent Maryland Ground Covers! They provide high quality at proper prices. We had two types of mulch delivered to our home in separate years. They are in the business for the long haul as well: a member of our household worked for a garden center for years, and Maryland was the "go to" company! Our garden looks great and plants are healthy. Maryland Ground Covers Inc. is a big part of success for many people!

Have used MGC to provide 6-7 yards of mulch at a time for a number of years. Mulch quality (no plastic or rocks) and company service are excellent. Mulch is always delivered on time and on short notice when needed.

I would like to bring to attention the superb and outstanding service that was provided by one of your workers (I didn’t catch his name) in the Olney region that helped load gravel into our backyard. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had it delivered straight into our backyard despite to make it easier for us. Give that man a raise please, he truly deserves it. In and out within 10 minutes, hard working, sincere and all around a solid worker. 11/10!!

Unfortunately, another landscaping supply company incorrectly set up the delivery day for the top soil I ordered to be delivered yesterday morning. After calling many places without success, Greg stated he would be glad to assist and deliver a load in the morning. He just needed to work out the schedule. The delivery came before noon and the top soil was spread, seed planted, straw was placed down and was ready for today’s rain. Thanks again Greg, you have more than earned my future business.

I recently ordered a cord of firewood and was impressed. The wood was delivered on time, was over the 90% oak that was promised, and was absolutely a full cord. (I stacked it immediately and it measured out to the 8'x4'x4' that it should be) I appreciate that as it's not always easy to find an honest cord.

I highly recommend Maryland Ground Covers. I have been using them for years to supply mulch at my landscaping jobs since I did not have my own dump truck. They are extremely professional and have always been on time. The mulch is fresh, high quality compared to several other compilation I have used, and weed free. They have never missed a delivery in all the years I have been working with them and provide great customer service; which is hard to find now days. I will continue to use MDGC for as long as I continue landscaping.

We’ve been having them deliver mulch and other products to our home for 6 years now. They’re reliable, friendly, and patient. Highly recommend them for mulch or other ground cover delivery. We’ve gotten several kinds of mulch, stone, and even fill dirt delivered.

I order everything I need from these guys on an annual basis. The mulch does not have ant eggs in it, meaning that they grind up good, non-decaying wood. Great operation. Delivery is quick.

I have been having a hard time finding a place to deliver a small amount of topsoil (2 cubic yards) for a reasonable price. I was very happy with the price that Maryland Ground Covers offered. The total cost of the soil plus delivery was what other companies charged for the delivery alone! I also had to reschedule the delivery twice and they were extremely accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone!

I called them initially to see if they had bagged mulch for delivery. Many mulch suppliers do not and I also did not want shredded mulch. They happened to have two pallets left. I was looking for what are apparently called mini nuggets and they walked out to see about how large the nuggets were. The woman on the phone ended up suggesting that I just stop by and take a look for myself, which I did. It was pretty impossible to see into the bags and get a sense of whether I was going to end up with the super large nuggets, but I decided to go with it. They delivered it on time. I got stuck with one of the pallets because it was buried when they dumped the load. Pallets are not easy to dispose, but I'll live. The mulch nuggets were much larger than I had hoped, but it looks fine.

The driver was there by 1:00 pm as promised. He placed the load exactly where we indicated, and cleaned up the over-spill. Good quality mulch, clean and uniform grade. Very satisfied.

We have gotten our mulch from this company for several years. We called them on a Monday and ordered the mulch to be delivered to our driveway on Wednesday. Wednesday evening when we arrived home, there was a huge mulch pile waiting for us. I believe that this company is very generous in their measurements, because it always seems like we end up with more than we anticipated. We get the basic double shredded, undyed mulch, and it always seems to be very good quality. It weathers nicely and keeps our flowerbeds looking good all summer long.

Great experience! As weathermen were predicting thunderstorms the delivery afternoon, that morning I called and requested that the driver throw a tarp over the pile. Unfortunately, we had a torrential downpour; I was stuck at work and assumed that a sizable portion of the soil would be washed away and what was left would take a week to dry out before I could haul it into my backyard. However, Lee (my driver) had taken the extra time to totally cover and weight down two tarps, so that my soil was not only still in place, but DRY. (I totally think a company's employees' attitudes reflects on management's attitudes.) Also - not only was the price lower than the competition, the quality is wonderful. More importantly, the service was above and beyond my expectations - a delightful surprise! Thanks!
